Grace has a long history of offering quality facilities.  The first building was erected in 1924.  Then a series of additions were made in the 1950’s including the large sanctuary, the education wing and the gymnasium.  Over the years there have been a series of remodels to the facility to maintain it.

Grace is in the middle of one of its greatest Remodeling projects since these facilities had been built.  These projects have been/will be done in order to make the building feel fresh and inviting, up to date and most of all make it more functional.  As with anything at Grace it takes the efforts of a plethora of resources which we give thanks to God for; people giving expertise, financial resources and in kind donations.

Grace continues to look for financial resources to accomplish future projects as we work with the funds we have on hand.  We thank those who have given to this project and if you would like to give to this project please do not hesitate to contact Grace with any funds towards Rebuilding Grace.

Here are a few highlights of what has been accomplished and what is planned to be done.

REBUILDING GRACE – PHASE TWO

Grace has had a significant presence in Loves Park for over 90 years. During that long history the congregation has experienced several building programs. In 2011 a Rebuilding Grace Capital Campaign resulted in major improvements to our facilities including:

  • New commercial use kitchen
  • Renovation of Founders Hall
  • Gymnasium upgrades
  • New four classroom Preschool on the lower level

We are currently involved in the Rebuilding Grace-Phase Two Capital Campaign. With funds generated from this appeal we will:

  • Repair the flat roof over the west wing
  • Reconfigure and modernize the offices, music room, nursery, adult education/large meeting room and bathrooms
  • Update the narthex and sanctuary
  • Resurface the parking lot

The vision for Rebuilding Grace – Phase Two is dependent on the generous support who those who share the vision and mission of Grace.   Contact the church office for more information as to how to contribute to this important project.
